The Genesis Therapy Center offers a wide range of counseling services for adults. Through a unique, holistic approach to counseling, we help people manage the stresses and hardships of everyday life by building habits that encourage positive thinking and strong decision making.

Marital/Couples Counseling

We have a number of therapists who specialize in working with couples. Counseling can provide a safe space as well as support for couples to work through issues causing distress within their relationship. In addition, couples are given tools, tips and techniques to use in their relationship.

Adolescent Therapy

Our Adolescent Therapy services help teenagers cope with various emotional, behavioral, life transition and mental health issues. Some of these issues include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, anger, self-esteem, trauma, abuse, family and peer relationships, academic and career goals, identity, and sexuality. Therapy is a safe space for teens to explore and process thoughts and feelings. Each teen is provided with resources to increase their resilience and wellbeing. 

Child Therapy

Our Child Therapy services provide a supportive safe space for children to cope with behavioral, mental health and emotional issues as well as life transitions caused by divorce or death.  Children can experience issues with anxiety, grief, family and peer relationships, anger, trauma, identity, and sexuality. Therapeutic interventions are based on the child’s needs and developmental capabilities. Parental support and involvement is imperative for the child to begin to increase their wellbeing.

Family Therapy helps families improve their relationship, adjust to new or sudden life changing events, and resolve conflicts. Common family issues include but are not limited to, divorce, separation, blended families, abuse, trauma and siblings’ rivalry.
